We're going to apologize right now for the length of the show. Many of you have said that you want the longest show possible but we actually try to make all of them around 2 hours - tops! The problem with mandating something like that is that you seem to suck out all of the spontaneity that you might get in just letting the show go where it wants to go. Take today, for example; today's show was already off the rails from the insanely candid interview with Pablo Francisco but Tom and I also had TWO brand new shows from Orlando based punk band "Teen Agers" to debut. We already had a ton on our plate. Add in emails and phones calls from complete pathological liars and you've got the makings of the longest show in "Tom and Dan" history. Seriously! We were pushing like 3 hours at the end of this deal. Throw in a few new sponsors and a few attempts to pay the bills and we were staring a full 180 minutes right in the eyes! We wouldn't have left it this long if you guys hadn't have told us that the longer the better so for those of you that filled out our survey a few weeks ago - you have no one to blame but yourselves.
Thanks again to the Orlando Improv for bringing by Pablo and Alex! Please go check those guys out. If you've never been to the Orlando Improv, you're really missing out! And for those of you that usually make it all the way through the show, you're going to get an extra special interview with Shawn Waynas. He's one hell of a nice guy but since he really wasn't telling us anything that we didn't already know - we put him in the back of the interview. Sorry kids. Fair is fair.
Love to you all.
