Hey there fam! 

Dan here and coming at you from the couch where the ESPN Fantasy Football app is currently down so I have no idea how my team is doing. Sadly, it's the only thing that I wanted to do while the baby took a nap but I guess that's the way it goes and now I can't put off typing up this show recap any longer. 

The show on Friday was a lot of fun but as a few of you know from me addressing it, I'm not drinking for 30 days so it was different for me. I was thinking about it and I think that this might be the first time that I've done the show with out a "cool beer" in my hand in about 6 years. Insane right? Maybe a little sad depending on how you want to look at it. We also had the BDM Summer Party yesterday and I didn't drink during that either. Was it hard? Yeah but it's a nice change and I really enjoyed the event and not feeling like sh*t the next day. I'm just not making a big deal about it. There's no need. And if you're wondering why in the hell I would do something like that, it's because I don't like feeling bad and in turn that takes time away from my daughter. To me, that's completely inexcusable. She doesn't deserve that. Neither does Andrea. I'll move on. :)

Thanks to all of you for listening and special thanks to all of you who joined us yesterday for the BDM Summer Party. You continue to solidify my thinking that we have that best listeners in the universe and it's always a fun time when I get to hang with you guys. (Drinking or not.) Tom and I both hope that you had an amazing time yesterday and partied safe. And as a side note, you guys raised a butt-load of cash for the Yellow Brick Road Foundation. This show is pretty self-explanatory. Basically, if the title includes the word "Interview" and then a proper name, you can pretty much bet that's exactly what you're going to get. In this day and age, most everything requires a "description." We don't believe in that. Just call us old school. It might also be one of our many special feature or bonus shows. Wouldn't a perfect description of it sort of ruin the surprise of releasing a new and special show for you? Or we might just be being completely lazy - you'll never know.
